Acne is a skin problem that starts when oil and dead skin cells clog up your pores. Some people call it blackheads, whiteheads, pimples, or Zits. If you only have a few red spots, or acne, you have a mild form of acne. Severe acne can mean hundreds of pimples that cover the face, neck, chest, and back. Alternatively, large red bumps, dense and painful (cysts).
Most children who are exposed to mild acne. Usually better after adolescence. However, many adult women acne in the days before their menstrual period.
How do you feel about your acne may not be related to how bad it is. Some people with severe acne are not bothered by it. But there also are embarrassed or upset even though they only have a few pimples.
