Great ways to receive some Spiritual Help

Tuesday, July 13th, 2010

Sometimes life gets pretty tough and dark and a term sometimes used “Walking the dark night of the soul” isn’t far from the truth.  It’s during this time a sense of loneliness might be experienced; there’s no-one around to provide comfort or support and we think to ourselves no-one understands and cry “I’ve tried everything” and struggle to find the switch to turn the light back on.

This would be a pretty good time to call in for some spiritual help.  When spirit answers in whatever shape it presents itself, a chance then exists for either doing something about it or not.  If nothing changes, then nothing changes.
An example of receiving spiritual help could be through reading a sentence in a book that speaks volumes to you, it may be words you hear in passing conversation, or maybe spiritual help presents itself during your dream state, there are many ways this can happen.

For example, if I’m going to visit a bookstore I might call upon ‘The Library Angel’.  I ask this angel to guide me to a book containing the answers I need, the great thing is it works for me every time, no matter how tiny the book or whether its been misplaced out of its category.

Save You $1000’s On Your Home Gym

Monday, July 5th, 2010

It always amazes me when people say “Home Gyms are expensive!  I just don’t have $1000’s of dollars lying about” These people obviously haven’t looked very hard because nowadays home gym equipment doesn’t have to cost 2, 3 or even $4000 dollars.

Below are 5 great alternatives that won’t cost you the earth but can do just a good a job as many of the commercial fitness equipment found in local gyms.

1.  Dumbbells

For resistance weight training you can’t go past dumbbells for their practicality and versatility.  You can perform any number of exercises with dumbbells that even the more expensive weight machines can’t do.  These days you can get adjustable dumbbells which allow you to use add or remove weight from a single dumbbell with a simple pin, just like with traditional pin loaded weight machines.

Mistakes People Makes When Doing a Workout Program

Thursday, July 1st, 2010

When you start out with a workout program – whether the purpose is weight loss exercise  or  another – you have started a training process that hopefully is going to last for a while.  It is important that you are aware of some factors that can decrease your motivation for the exercising or even damage your health – while you are executing your training program.  Even a few minor mistakes in your workout can easily accumulate to bad habits over time, kicking you off track, and that is not the purpose with good exercise. Below I’ll go through a few of these.

1. Impatience

Impatience is probably most people’s worst enemy when it comes to staying on track with your workout plan.  It is so easy to get distracted, especially if you feel the recent progress with your exercise has been slow.  You must be aware that physical training won’t do miracles over night.  Only faitful and diligent exercising and workout, day after day, week after week, month after month will prove results.

Steps To Six Pack Abs

Monday, June 28th, 2010

First off, I want to mention that, for most people, getting six pack abs is not an easy task. It requires dedication, but it is possible! Below is a general 2-step guide that, if followed religiously for 3 months, will produce results.

Step 1: Nutrition

This is the single most important part of the puzzle, hands down. You can have the most impressive set of abs, but if they’re covered with a layer of fat, you won’t see them! Break up your day with 5 or 6 mini-meals because this jump starts your metabolism. And stop eating the food that is preventing results: white bread, loads of pasta, soda, candy, fast food, hydrogenated oils, sugars and fructose corn syrup.
Instead, replace them with foods that will help you reach your goal: oatmeal, olive oil, whole grain breads, fruits, vegetables, nuts, eggs, natural peanut butter, chicken, fish, protein and water. Be realistic- you’ll slip here and there, but make a conscious effort to radically improve your eating habits because getting a six pack will be impossible if you don’t.

Activities Promoting Healthy Aging

Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010

Lack of activities can prevent you from living healthy. When you do not enjoy activities, you may feel fatigue or find it difficult to sleep at night. When you awake in the morning, you may feel tired until you finally fall asleep. As we, age our body change and we have to make changes to accommodate our lives.

Having a good night sleep makes the mind think more clearly. A good night sleep also boosts your energy while controlling your weight. You can also make decisions with less stress. Sleeping well at night makes our immune system stronger to keep us healthier.  Researchers have proved that a good nights sleep is necessary for our health.  Researchers have found that lack of sleep reduces the growth hormones in our bodies, since it changes muscles to fat. Sleep overall is most important, yet it stands behind activities. To improve your health, try walking each day.

Exercise and Arthritis

Wednesday, February 24th, 2010

Your bones hang out in a lot of joints. Knee joints. Hip joints. The joints in your fingers and the joints in your toes.

Wherever bones meet, there is also cartilage, a rubbery, protective layer that ensures your joints bend smoothly and painlessly. But even cartilage cannot do this tremendous job alone. A thin membrane called the “synovium” provides fluid that lubricates the moving parts of the joint. When the cartilage wears out of the synovium becomes inflamed, the result is generally a case of “osteoarthritis” or “rheumatoid arthritis.”
