Diabetes is a state where our bodies are not able or do not produce enough insulin that helps the body process sugar (or glucose) into energy needed by your body.

Diabetes is caused by eating sweets

This statement is not true. Eating sweets does not cause diabetes. However, overweight and less active can lead you more likely to suffer from diabetes. The most common type of diabetes can be prevented or delayed with a healthy lifestyle.

Diabetes only affects your blood. This statement is also incorrect. Diabetes can affect almost any part of your body. Diabetes can lead to other problems if not controlled. Diabetes can lead to heart disease or heart attacks, vision problems, kidney damage and loss of feet or toes.

False: If I had diabetes, I would not be healthy again. Not true. The good news is that people with diabetes can live healthy by eating healthily, taking medication, exercise, not overweight and met with health care providers.
Diabetes is a condition experienced by a person if in the blood too much sugar. These disorders can occur because of disruption of insulin secretion and function.

Fatigue, thirst, weight loss decreases drastically, frequent urination at night, old wounds are healed, maybe our minds it was common. But do not think is trivial, because the possibility of these symptoms are diabetes symptoms.

So far, the number of diabetics continues to grow from around the world. And Indonesia was ranked fourth for the largest number of diabetics in the world after India, China, and the United States.

Diabetes occurs because the pancreas can not produce insulin so that food can not be converted into energy. As a result glucose levels in the blood increases.

Based on the etiology, diabetes is divided into two. Namely:

Diabetes Mellitus Type 1.

Condition where the pancreas can not produce the hormone insulin and require insulin hormone from outside to control blood sugar.

Diabetes Mellitus Type 2.

Condition where the pancreas can still produce insulin, but for some reason the hormone insulin can not work properly.

So we must keep control the intake of food we eat. Do not be too low or high levels of sugar contained in foods that we choose. In order for our body condition well maintained. And we no longer fear with the threat of diabetes or other diseases.
